Jasper Pride is back—bigger, better, and prouder than ever.
Over the past two years, we’ve been cooking up ways to enhance the Jasper Pride Festival you know and love. We reflected on your feedback and listened to your suggestions. We consulted our communities at home and online. And we’re so pumped to share the updates with you!
So what’s new?
Let’s start with our identity. In 2022, we’re officially coming out as the Jasper Pride and Ski Festival. You can expect the same celebratory spirit, colourful storefronts, friendly locals and awesome visitors—but with better parties, elevated events and a lot more skiing!
Which brings us to our next update:
It’s longer! We’ve expanded to a 10-day festival from April 1-10, 2022. Now you can plan to make the most of your time in gorgeous Jasper National Park, surrounded by snowcapped peaks and endless wilderness.
And since Jasper is the spring-skiing capital of Canada, we’re zeroing in on skiing.
Ski. Celebrate. Repeat at the only gay ski week in the Canadian Rockies. Hit the slopes at Marmot Basin and keep the vibe going with music, pints, DJs and Pride parties at a higher elevation.
Not into skiing? That’s okay too! There’s so much more to Jasper than hitting the slopes. Eat, see, and celebrate with non-stop Pride events, incredible local restaurants and fascinating tours.
