By Car

Driving to Jasper National Park is scenic and beautiful. Highway #16 (aka the Yellowhead Highway) runs through the park and is the main route to and from Jasper.  

The Icefields Parkway, widely considered one of the most scenic stretches of highway in the world, runs north-south connecting Jasper with Lake Louise, Banff and Calgary.

Approximate driving times:
  • Edmonton to Jasper: 3.5 Hours

  • Prince George to Jasper: 4 Hours

  • Banff to Jasper: 3 Hours

  • Calgary to Jasper: 5 Hours

  • Vancouver to Jasper: 9 Hours

By Air

Fly into either Edmonton or Calgary airports and arrive by car, train or bus!
